Birthstone Peapod
Description:
This necklace was made using sterling silver and two gorgeous swarovski crystal pearls. The pea pod shape was hand sawed, then filed and sanded down to remove any rough edges. The outer shell has got a great shiny finish to it and the swarovski pearls have been securely fastened to the pod to prevent them from falling out. I also thought it would be fun to add a little bit of whimsy by creating a small curl at the top of the peapod.
The pendant itself measures just over 3/4 inches (about 22mm), and hangs on a sterling silver chain. The sterling silver clasp was also handmade by me. I finished it off by adding a small sterling silver bead to the end of the chain.
